Integrative Psychiatry
Root-cause, whole-person treatment integrating biological, psychological, and lifestyle factors.

Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, PMHNP
California License No. 95021216

I provide integrative, depth-oriented psychiatric care for individuals navigating biological, emotional, and psychological complexity.

My work is grounded in clinical psychiatry and shaped by a broader understanding of mental health—one that includes the nervous system, whole-body physiology, and developmental experience. I work with children, adolescents, and adults, with particular focus on trauma, reproductive mental health, and high-functioning individuals whose symptoms persist despite standard approaches.

In addition to medication management when appropriate, my approach integrates IFS-informed therapy, trauma-informed care, and psychospiritual frameworks. I also offer psychedelic integration within a harm reduction approach.

I view symptoms not simply as problems to eliminate, but as adaptive signals—expressions of a system seeking regulation and coherence. Treatment is oriented not only toward relief, but toward integration, regulation, and transformation.

My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in a deep respect for each individual's inner experience.

Practice Policies

Policies &
Your Rights

Privacy & HIPAA

Notice of Privacy Practices

This practice is required by law to maintain the privacy of your protected health information (PHI) and to provide you with notice of our legal duties and privacy practices. Your health information may be used for treatment, payment, and healthcare operations as permitted under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). We will not disclose your information to third parties without your written authorization, except as required or permitted by law. You have the right to request restrictions on certain uses and disclosures of your PHI, to inspect and copy your records, and to request amendments to your records. To exercise any of these rights, please submit a written request to this practice.

Confidentiality

Limits of Confidentiality

All information shared in the context of care is held in strict confidence. However, there are specific circumstances under which disclosure is required by law without your consent. These include: a reasonable belief that you pose an imminent risk of harm to yourself or others; a report of abuse or neglect of a minor, elder, or dependent adult; a court order or legal mandate; or participation in a formal quality review or supervision process. In all other circumstances, written authorization is required before any information is shared. If disclosure is required, you will be notified whenever legally permissible.

Informed Consent

Consent to Treatment

Participation in psychiatric care is voluntary. Prior to beginning treatment, you will be provided with a written informed consent document that describes the nature of services, associated risks and benefits, treatment alternatives, and your right to withdraw from care at any time without penalty. For minors, consent will be obtained from a parent or legal guardian, and the minor's assent will also be sought in a developmentally appropriate manner. Questions about your treatment are always welcome and encouraged.

Scheduling

Cancellation & No-Show Policy

We ask that you provide at least 48 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours notice, and appointments missed without prior notice, may be subject to a late cancellation or no-show fee. This policy exists to allow adequate time to offer your appointment to another patient in need of care. Repeated late cancellations or no-shows may affect your ability to schedule future appointments. We understand that emergencies arise and will consider extenuating circumstances on a case-by-case basis.

Urgent Matters

After-Hours & Emergency Care

This practice does not provide 24-hour crisis services. If you are experiencing a psychiatric emergency, please call 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline), call 911, or go to your nearest emergency room. For urgent but non-emergency clinical questions between appointments, you may leave a message and expect a response within one to two business days. Please do not use email or the contact form on this website to communicate time-sensitive clinical concerns, as these channels are not monitored in real time.

Telehealth

Telehealth Services

Telehealth services are available for established patients and, where clinically appropriate, for new evaluations. Telehealth sessions are conducted via HIPAA-compliant video platforms. You are responsible for ensuring a private, confidential environment for your session. Telehealth is not appropriate for all clinical situations; your provider will advise you if in-person care is clinically indicated. By participating in telehealth, you consent to the use of electronic communication for clinical purposes and acknowledge the inherent limitations of remote care.

Communication

Electronic & Social Media Policy

To protect your privacy and maintain appropriate professional boundaries, this practice does not accept friend or connection requests from current or former patients on any personal social media platform. Email and web-based forms are not considered secure for transmitting sensitive clinical information and should not be used for that purpose. Clinical communication should occur through scheduled appointments or your provider's designated secure messaging system. Any electronic communication you initiate may become part of your clinical record if it is relevant to your care.

Records

Medical Records & Documentation

You have the right to access your medical records in accordance with applicable state and federal law. Requests for records must be submitted in writing using the practice's authorization form. Records are generally provided within 30 days of receipt of a completed request. A reasonable administrative fee may apply for copying and processing. Psychotherapy notes, if maintained separately from the general medical record, are subject to additional protections and may not be released without specific authorization except under limited legal circumstances.

These policies are provided for informational purposes and are subject to change. A complete copy of this practice's policies, informed consent documents, and Notice of Privacy Practices will be provided to you prior to your first appointment. If you have questions about any of the above, please do not hesitate to contact us.
